Jillaroo School
Five women longing for adventure sign up to a jillaroo course on a station in the South Australian outback, hoping to find work on the land while the mining boom draws the jackaroos away. Under the eye of the station bosses they learn to ride, muster, shear, build fences and pregnancy-test cattle, before a real outback muster. Six half-hours for the ABC. Steve was Location Manager.
