Steve Geddes

Steve Geddes is an executive producer, series producer and cinematographer working across factual television and advertising. He is based in Adelaide, South Australia, and his work takes him around the world. Over more than twenty years in production, he has made programs for Australian and international broadcasters, from the ABC and Network 10 to National Geographic and Animal Planet. His credits run from shooter producer and director of photography to director, series producer and executive producer.

He runs a production end to end, from the first idea and the pitch, through the budget and the shoot, to the night it goes to air. On location, whether it's the Irwins at Australia Zoo or paramedics on the road, he earns the kind of trust that lets people forget the camera, and he takes his duty of care seriously. In the edit, he finds the moments that make an audience lean in, shapes the series around them and delivers it on brief.

Alongside television, Steve has spent over ten years in advertising and now executive produces campaigns for local and international brands. He has chased stories from South Australia's Neptune Islands to Queensland's tropical reefs, and from Bali to the Arctic Circle. His work has aired in more than 200 countries and territories.
